My friends and I visited in this national park for camping. This is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. This national park was authorized in 1926 and fully established in 1935. Four entrance gates of this park and the routes are:
- Front Royal, accessible via I-66 and Route 340
- Thornton Gap, accessible via Route 211
- Swift Run Gap, accessible via Route 33
- Rockfish Gap, accessible via I-64 and Route 250
The park is best known for Skyline Drive, a 169 km road that runs the entire length of the park along the ridge of the mountains. Shenandoah National Park offers huge acres of wilderness camping, which is interested for adventurers. You can found Whiteoak Canyon, Rose River Falls, South River Falls and Dark Hollow Falls in this national park.
